One of an ever-increasing number of films screened after a limited first release, this movie eventually had a smash-hit success at the Essoldo, Chelsea. Director Michael Ritchie’s debut is the story of a young American skier on the verge of breaking into the big time. The film has a style and grace of its own, while Robert Redford’s performance as the man for whom winning is a way of life is one of his finest. On Sunday at 5 and 9 p.m..
