CARRY IT ON. Electric Cinema. Portobello Road, tonight (Thursday) at 9 p.m.: tomorrow at 7 p.m.: Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. British premiere of last year’s 90-minute film about American folk singer Joan [Baez]. Title refers to the last words spoken by her husband David before he was arrested on a draft-dodging charge. Director James Coyne follows the singer as she “carries the message” of revolution, the end of war, racial discrimination and social inequality on a tour of the U.S. which included WOODSTOCK.
